The world’s most exquisite airline, Emirates, and the world’s largest commercial aircraft, Airbus A380 are one of the main reasons I’m into aviation.

Airbus A380

The Airbus A380 is currently the largest commercial aircraft by size flying today. It’s commonly known as the Super Jumbo(it’s very big). The Jumbo has 4 engines and 2 full-length decks.

The Engines powering the Jumbo are from either Engine Alliance GP7200 or Rolls-Royce Trent 900 turbofans, giving it a range of up to 15,000 Km (8000 NMI) and a whopping 70,000-pound thrust!

The Jumbo weighs over 530 tonnes and can carry up to 600 passengers, depending on the class configuration.

Airbus A380 made its first flight in 2005, unfortunately, Airbus stopped Airbus production in 2021 with an Emirates order. On the brighter side, we still have lots of Emirates’ A380 flying today!

If you haven’t been onboard on the A380s (Me Too!), Emirates made sure that we are covered, you can have a virtual tour on the A830, super cool right?

Damn! What an experience, right?

The latest Emirates Airbus A380 is fitted with luxury seats and a new Premium Economy setup.

Emirates has given us some of the most interesting facts about their A380s, here is a summary:

  1. The craft has 4 million parts!
  2. The craft is as tall as two giraffes and as long as 2 blue whales!

Emirates is flying to almost 15 cities this summer(2021) with their superjumbos. Some of these cities are;

  • Heathrow (London)
  • Frankfurt
  • Paris CDC
  • Cairo

Before I depart, have you seen the highest ad by Emirates? Pretty fun and amazing
